Recycling line - recoSTAR compact

The recoSTAR compact is a cost-effective starter solution for recycling small and medium quantities of PE, PP, and EVA film.
The film is drawn into a cutting hopper by an edge trim cyclone or a nip roll film-reel feeder, cut, and fed directly into the extruder. The hopper also serves to collect the material so that, with direct feeding of the cut material to the extruder, the extrusion process runs smoothly without pumping.
Various filtering options are available for the clean or only slightly contaminated material: continuous or discontinuous, manual or automatic. Depending on type and quantity of material, the line can be equipped with either air or water ring pelletising.

The special advantage of the recoSTAR compact is that no heating is necessary before extrusion. This simplifies the starting and stopping process and also permits automatic stopping or a standby mode – which makes full integration of the recycling line into the process flow of a production line possible. Inline recycling has the advantage of being highly automated. Production waste is fed directly to the recycling line and the repelletised material back to the same production process. No additional operator is needed for material feeding or handling at the recycling line.
