Starlinger’s viscotec technology was developed on the basis of know-how gained from experience with the recoSTAR PET iV+ technology. viscoSTAR solid stating (SSP) reactors are not only designed for a higher output range than the recoSTAR PET iV+, they also make it possible to process different materials, e.g. virgin PET material or PET flakes. viscoSTAR reactors can be operated inline with production equipment instead of a dryer, or they can be operated offline or in combination with Starlinger recoSTAR PET recycling lines.
