The ecological aspect

Although being a composite, PP*STAR® bags are a mono-material solution, made entirely of polypropylene. They are 100 % recyclable and can be converted into a valuable secondary resource after their use as a packaging material.

Because of their special characteristics they consume significantly less raw material in the production process. In a survey conducted by c/o denkstatt, Austria, the results showed that the CO2 emissions of a PP*STAR® bag are 69 % lower than those of a same-size paper pinch bag, and even 76 % lower if the bag is made of PET or PE.
